    Babcock Data Calendars

    Data Release Calendar

    The Data Release Calendar outlines the planned release of performance and contextual data analyses to schools – for academic year 2008/09.

    The schedule can be used as a guide as to when you can expect to receive data analyses from the Research Team at Babcock or other services within the organisation where stated.

    Please note that the Calendar is both complimentary and supplementary to the Information Requests Planner produced by Babcock; actual release dates of data analysis reports may differ from that of the timetable.

    Data Requests Calendar

    The Data Requests Calendar outlines all the regular statutory and non-statutory data requests, surveys, consultations, data transfers which schools can expect to receive or return to Babcock throughout the academic year September 2008 to August 2009.

    The calendar summarises;

    • The information that is required
    • The date of the request and its required return date
    • Which type of schools the request applies to
    • And comments relating to submissions or change in procedures

    National Assessment Agency

    National Assessments Agency (NAA) - Assessments and reporting arrangements (ARA) for 2009.

    You can access information published in the 2009 Assessment and reporting arrangements booklets for Key stage 1 (KS1), Key stage 2 (KS2) and Key stage 3 (KS3). It sets out the statutory assessment and reporting arrangements of pupils throughout and at the end of each Key stage (KS1 to KS3). It also provides information and guidance on each Key stage 1 to 3 national curriculum assessment arrangements in 2009

    DfE Data Collection Schedule

    The DfE Data Collection Schedule for July 2008 to August 2009 is intended to give Local Authorities (LAs) and schools a guide to the pattern of data collections/surveys for the year ahead, including both new and ongoing ones.  This schedule includes data collections by the DfE and by those organisations that have signed up to the Protocol on Data Sharing and Rationalisation.

    The schedule covers a rolling 12-month period and will be updated at regular intervals. The schedule is accesssible via the folowing link.

    There is also an explanatory document, which explains the layout of the schedule and explains some of the terms used in it.

    We hope this information will help schools to anticipate data request and planned release dates.  And also help us to streamline communications and information sharing with schools.
