Community Cohesion

Schools now have a duty to promote community cohesion. Most schools in Waltham Forest have been doing so for years. Now they all need to demonstrate how. Cohesion comes through developing relationships and understanding between age groups and social classes, across ethnic and faith groups and ensuring that everyone feels a sense of belonging and inclusion. This website suggests starting points for school strategies and practice informed by thinking and examples from all over the UK.
