Research
The Research Team collects, analyses and reports information for schools and staff, providing good quality data on pupils and their performance, and on comparative information for schools to use in self-evaluation.
Our goals are:

to deliver accurate data for statutory returns on time and to support all areas of the education service in monitoring their performance using management information

to provide leading-edge expertise and guidance on the effective use of management and performance information

to contribute to the development of an effective Management Information Systems (MIS) Strategy in order to monitor and evaluate improvements in standards across the LA

to contribute to the development and direction of the strategies needed, both for the LA and for schools and
-
to raise standards of performance significantly and measurably based on a thorough analysis and interpretation of data and information
