Our schools and support services
We have wide choice of schools:
41 Primary, 16 Secondary, 4 Nursery, 8 Junior, 8 Infants and 5 Special Schools. Of these, 4 are Training Schools and 7 Specialist Status Schools.
We also have a City Learning Centre, an Early Excellence Centre and 2 Pupil Referral Units (secondary and primary).
A City Academy was opened in September 2006.

Leisure Card

Care First counselling, information & advice
Care First provides a full range of confidential support, advice and information services to Waltham Forest employees. Information Specialists provide information and support on consumer issues, employment, benefits, housing, taxes and education as well as debt counselling. Issues can be discussed in confidence 24 hours a day with a counsellor or an information specialist.
